I had very high expectations because this was a very pricey massage. The atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous. The hydro therapy they offer was amazing. The steam room was fantastic, followed by the sauna at a whopping 175 degrees. Next came a hot plunge, cold plunge, hot plunge, cold plunge, ending with 5 minutes in a Jacuzzi tub. I went for a 50 minute deep tissue massage. I've had many deep tissue massages, and I've never had to tell the masseuse lighten up on the pressure. Normally I've always had to ask to increase pressure but not today. I had to ask several times to lighten up on the pressure. Also, the masseuse used very quick movements and hit my spine so many times with her elbows. Not sure if this is just a different technique that I've never experienced, but it was definitely not for me. Five hours later and I am already visibly bruised on my spine. The rest of the massage on the rest of my body was fine. The add on facial was really nice and I'm glad I added it onto my service.

BEST RESORT SPA IN CANCÚN!! The spa experience here was absolutely incredible! If you are staying in a Xcaret resort coming to this spas is a must. The massage was incredible, but it was the amenities that really made the experience! The hydro therapy, sauna, steam room, and cold plunge were the icing on the cake. The whole facility was absolutely beautiful. It felt as if you were in a zen cave of relaxation. I was in awe the whole time! The staff was also very warm and friendly!

AMAZING! I thought this was like any other spa, where you go in and come out an hour later, no, I was MIA for 4 hours! This place took incredibly good care of me and was very relaxing. They have a sauna, steam room, cold dip, hot dip, salt water dip, and the massages are done in, what look like, dried up senotes. When I was getting a massage it started raining and the rain coming in through the opening of the cave was pure peace. Treat yourself, you won’t regret it. I promise!

Not a great experience. I booked a massage via email and when we showed up on time, they sent us to hydrotherapy instead, missing our massage appointment even though we clearly indicated we were there for a massage on the questionnaire.

The "hydrotherapy" is just a steam room, some ice to rub on yourself, and then a hot dry sauna which wasn't very hot. Then a standard jaccuzi and cold plunge, which wasn't all that impressive.

We arrive for our re-booked overpriced 50 minute massage and 35 minute facial the next day on time, at 3 pm. After the welcome drinks and refilling the questionnaire, we finally get to the service maybe 30 minutes later. The cave atmosphere was cool, but the massage/facial were both mid. Somehow, a 50 minute massage and 35 minute facial starting at 3:30 ended at 4:25. I'm guessing they started counting it the moment we walked in? I've never seen another spa do this, so not only did we pay an overpriced rate for a below average massage, we got ripped off on time.

Would definitely...

Was not pleased with the setup. The spa is about as far away from everything at the resort as it can be. They us to arrive 30 minutes early to use the hydrotherapy but failed to mention that we cant use ANY of them except a shower w/o a swimsuit. So we got there and just sat around for the time. The therapist was harsh on my face and kept on scrubbing against my beard which burned. Afterwards when asked how the service i stated my face felt burned and the staff retorted that I should have stated i had sensitive skin. Fortunately I had some of my own face cream I used to...
