Mercado de la Merced — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

Waited over 45 mins to tell us at the door that they could not serve us. Restaurant didn’t close for another 30 mins. Closes at 11 PM. All other restaurants at hotel close at 10PM or 11PM. At this point we could not find a proper meal. Room service wait time was 2hr. Unacceptable. Inconsiderate for the people in line waiting. They told us that they were at capacity. Xcaret is the best all Inclusive resort in Mexico. Service is exceptional. The only issue I've had during my visits is checking in and checking out. I'm a member and the guest service person was rude and didn't attempt to arrange our room in a timely way because I refused another member tour several times. I would give Aracheley 0 stars for her rude and incompetent behavior. We arrived at 10am but were the last to be assigned a room. Food is fine. Drinks are bad compared to elsewhere on the resort. My main problem is the dinner dress code. My husband wearing a tank top was inappropriate for dinner, but half a dozen women in here are literally wearing bras and bikini tops.

Meanwhile, the hosts enforcing the dress code were taking selfies instead of of attending to guests waiting to sit.
