We are huge fans of La Parada and were very excited to visit their new Mezcal bar down the street. It did not disappoint! This is a place to laugh loudly with friends and order another round. For anyone who has dined at La Parada it’s no surprise that the cocktails are absolute perfection. Don’t let the casual atmosphere fool you, the kitchen at San Mezcal takes their food very seriously. The perfectly executed bar menu is the work of a skilled and creative chef. Every dish we ordered was fantastic. The tamales would knock the socks off your abuelita and the pastor fries were so deliciously decadent we were craving them the next day. When drinks, food, decor and service are all amazing, what more do you need? This is the kind of bar that people fall in love with and want to come back to again and again.
