Good...suggested to buy combi ticket There are many companies and if you haven’t booked any canal ride don’t worry there are plenty of them across the canal and you can buy ticket directly there. We bought combi ticket for Madame Tussads, Dungeons and Canal ride from “Tours and Tickets” for good price which was valid for a week directly from outlets which is every where in Amsterdam. This included tickets from Lover cruise company. the boarding point when we went there we saw very huge queue but we waited hardly for 5 mins and when a one boat came most of us got into it. Boat has three seats on each side good thing is if you say you don’t want to board that boat but you will wait and board the next one as you want better window seat staff is really friendly they will allow you and never push or force you. Staff are good and wont put pressure on visitors. Ride was over all good like any other ride in European city explaining the various things...

Very unpleasant staff. We arrived at the starting point and the ship was almost empty. The lady from the boat said that we have to change the voucher we received from the hotel with a ticket at the office, 10 meters away. As we got to the desk the cashier said we had to wait for the next trip, one hour later, because the boat was leaving. I asked her to hold the boat for 30 seconds to get in - the boat was still there and had just started the engine, but she refused and didn’t want to give me the tickets until it left. So we waited for one hour for the next boat, which was almost fully booked by a group. As such, we ended up in the back of the boat which is very noisy. Very unpleasant. The audio guide script could be better - it was not synchronised with the surroundings it was describing. Otherwise the route is good. You can see a lot of...

We did the canal cruise in 2014 on our Europe trip. This is 45 minutes to an hour cruise. You are amazed to see how the Dutch have used these vast networks of natural and man made canals to their advantage. They use it extensively for transportation of goods and people. You could see the old and modern buildings of Amsterdam all around from the cruise, thanks to the glass roof of the cruises. There is live commentary going on giving you a lot of information about Amsterdam and its history and places of importance and important buildings. There are modern buildings with stunning architecture and old buildings of European style. Even both sides of canals are beautifully decorated with vivid colored artwork and graffiti. There is a small toilet on board in case you need it. We enjoyed viewing Amsterdam this way from the...

We decided to take a boat tour through the canals of Amsterdam, not expecting much but considering it a touristy attraction. However, the boat tour turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Despite the drizzly and cold weather outside, the boat was heated and comfortable. Inside, there was a multilingual audio commentary available in about 20 languages, providing interesting insights about the canal system and the various landmarks we passed by. What made the experience even more enjoyable was the captain's witty and informative commentary, sprinkled with current events and humor. The boat tour lasted approximately 75 minutes, and we left feeling quite satisfied with the unexpected enjoyment it brought. It's a great way to explore the city and its rich history while staying warm and comfortable.

The Amsterdam Canal Cruise tour is a wonderful experience and it is one of the best ways to discover the charming city of Amsterdam! This relaxing excursion through the canals of Amsterdam provides the tourist with a great overview of the city and to experience the real Amsterdam. Tourists will be able to see several famous landmarks through this sightseeing such as the Westerkerk Church, the Negen Straatjes district, and the Magere Brug also known as the skinny bridge on the Amstel river. Evening and night canal cruises are also available and some of the sightseeing include meals and beverages. The approximately an hour cruise ride is accompanied by a local expert tour guide who shares the history of Amsterdam and the lifestyle of people living in the city.
