Read moreI typically refrain from writing reviews on Google following visits to restaurants, but my experience at this particular restaurant was so uniquely unpleasant & awful that I felt compelled to share. The hotel staff or manager or owner (who so ever he was) exhibited extreme unfriendliness that spoiled the entirety of my visit.
Here are the key issues that I encountered:
The staff imposed pressure on us to order additional food items, despite our clear preference for a light dinner. We had opted for 2 side dishes and 3 breads, but the owner or manager insisted that we order more. This unnecessary insistence made us uncomfortable, and we couldn't discern the reason behind it.
Upon receiving the bill totalling 28.75, we attempted to pay using a card, only to be informed that card payments were not accepted for such 'small' amounts under 30. We were pressed to pay in cash instead, which struck us as unreasonable. This was nowhere mentioned before ordering food or highlighted in the menu. Also, no digital receipt was produced. This should be made clear upfront such that we would have opted to dine somewhere else as we don't carry cash during our travel as everyone accepts card payment in the whole world.
In my extensive travels to over 100 cities worldwide, I have never encountered such behaviour from restaurant staff or owners. Typically, hospitality industry professionals are supportive, humble, and respectful of guests' choices, refraining from coercive tactics and judgmental comments.
Please treat the customer with more respect ! And make your rules clear upfront so that they can make their decisions 😏

Read morewe ordered 6-7 different curries, 5 different starters and few other dishes
I am writing this with only one intention to make it known to everyone that if you want to eat Indian flavour food then this is not the place.
Mutton curry had pieces of mutton which was not properly cooked, these could have been cooked for 10 more minutes, curry was like a novice has prepared it. So called specialty of theirs, Chicken tikka masala had sweetish flavour as well, not at all expected. Curry of Chicken karai was flat…chicken karai is supposed to be full of flavours and curry tasted like it is coming from a ready to cook packet. Dal makhni was average Paneer butter masala was also average Mutton biryani( beware: it is not biryani at all) some rice fried with mutton pieces( which are half cooked and partially cooked, which makes it impossible to chew) Seek kebab: it was salty…i could only taste salt in it but it was properly cooked. Butterfly prawns: oily, deep fried prawns again missing spices, flavours Chicken tikka: lame, just pure lame chicken tikka…half cooked Onion bhajji were laughable, we had to leave most of it. Garlic naan was good.
Overall i would never recommend this place to anyone under no circumstances. There are way better places to eat indian food.
Portion size and their prices do not match. And the waiter kept on saying that this will not be enough and then we ordered almost 9 gravy for 9 people and then we had a lot of left overs. Very uptight service, please order all the main course at once and they will also bring it at once, They cannot hold the two biryanis for 10 minutes after bringing our main course so that we could have that...
