Unfriendly, confusing, and possibly scammy parking – avoid if you can. Five years ago, this parking was fair — you simply paid when you left based on your actual stay. Now it feels like scammers are managing it.

When you arrive, your entry time is recorded by camera. But if you lose your ticket, they suddenly claim they have no idea when you came in and charge you a full-day fine.

Worse, the system now forces you to guess in advance how long you'll stay and pay upfront. If you stay longer, you get fined. If you leave earlier, you overpay. It’s a stressful and unfair system, especially for tourists.

To make it even more ridiculous, there’s a bicycle parking spot clearly visible on the side of the road going to the beach. A man sits there all day, but when you ask if the car parking is free or not, he acts like he just landed from another planet — totally clueless.

For such a beautiful tourist spot, the parking situation is a shame. Avoid...

It does the job of a parking space, but it's failry expensive and very strange. While i was inside, the main exit door malfunktioned and wouldn't open, so me and a bunch of strangers in the dame situation were wandering around trying to find a other way out until the door was fixed. It was a inconvinence and we all wasted some time disoriented (because there were bo direction signs for a exit). It was eventually fixed, but it seemed to be a common issue (since it happened again later) and a low priority to fix, so if you get claustrophobic or disoriented easily, you propably wpuldn't like this place. It's okay to use, and it gets the job done, but i wouldn't particularly...

!!! AUFPASSEN !!! Verdacht auf Bußgelderschleichung !

Der Leiter der Den Haager Kommunalsteuern stellt Bußgelder für Autofahrer aus , die kein niederländisch verstehen und auf ein sehr verdächtiges Parksystem reinfallen.

Die Masche: Man fährt an die Eingangsschranke, die automatisch öffnet. Kein Beleg an der Schranke. Ok, also sucht man den nächsten Automaten auf. Nur niederländisch und man denkt, es ist eine hochmoderne Anlage und geht zum Strand. Vor der Abfahrt geht man also zum Automaten und gibt sein Kennzeichen ein und wundert sich, dass der Betrag so gering ist Die Schranke an der Ausfahrt geht hoch und man fährt raus. Nach 7 Monaten schickt ihnen dann der Leiter der Kommunalsteuern einen Bußgeldbescheid, weil man zu wenige Parkgebühren bezahlt hat. 6,50 € Parkgebühren und 72,90 Bußgeld = 79,40 €

Dieses System wurde anscheinend extra gemacht, um normal denkende Menschen hinters Licht zu führen. Wenn schon Kameras die An- und Abfahrt erkennen können, wieso sollte es dann nicht möglich sein, am Ende des Parkvorgangs am Automaten die korrekte Gebühr anzugeben, die man dann zu zahlen hat. Welcher Sinn soll darin liegen, durch ein hochmodernes Schranksystem zu fahren, dann sofort die Parkgebühr für die Zeit zu entrichten, die man dort vermutlich verbringen will und wenn man zu wenig entrichtet, weil man dieses System nicht verstanden hat, öffnet sich die Schranke trotzdem? Und nach 7 Monaten bekommt man dann ein Bußgeldbescheid zugestellt.

Eine Schande für die Stadt Den Haag und den Leiter der Kommunalsteuern!
