Entrance is included with a ticket to the Mauritshuis but even being a big art fan I'm not sure I would recommend making the effort. Hung salon style, it's tough to see many of the paintings (too high), and a lot of the paintings seemed too dark--heavily lacquered, not given the kind of restoration higher profile pieces would get. There are plenty of great artists here (from Rubens to Jan Steen), but collectively, after you see the Mauritshuis, this feels like the basement closet with paintings that couldn't fit somewhere else, notwithstanding the history of Prince William V having some of these paintings here as his collection. I definitely wouldn't pay the 5 or 6 euros to go into this...
