Hotel - Broer & Zus — Hotel in The Hague

This is rather a mixed review for lots of reasons. Be carful with the reviews as most of them are from the previous business what was in this location which was a restaurant. There is no restaurant now and it isn’t even a hotel it’s kind of an appartement but with non of the amenities of an apartment. There are also no amenities that you would expect from a hotel like breakfast, left luggage, room service, a reception, shared seating area, a restaurant etc.

Pros: good location and nicely done our rooms.

Cons: if you want to get to sleep before 2:30 on a weekend or 1am during the week then don’t book here. There is an incredibly loud bar downstairs that stays open till late. No kitchen, seating area etc that you would get in an appartement but as mentioned above also no hotel advantages either. It was the worst if both worlds. There is no door between the two bedrooms so we had to sit in the dark when we put the kids to bed.

Summary: if you want a reasonably priced place to lay your head right in the centre of town go for it. If you are looking for a nice hotel or a spacious apartment it won’t tick either of those boxes. We were only there for one night and it absolutely met our needs but I don’t think I could have done it for two nights. I probably would have given it more stars but I feel cheesed off that it’s misleading as you think it’s a hotel and they are leaning on good reviews from the previous business. It’s...

Wir haben ein Familienzimmer erhalten. Das Doppelbett war bezogen, aber die Bettwäsche roch nach Zigaretten Qualm. Das Stockbett war nur mit einem Laken bezogen und diese waren fleckig. Unter dem ersten Schlafzimmer befindet sich immer noch eine Baustelle seit November letzten Jahres. Dementsprechend ist ausschlafen oder generell schlafen nicht möglich. Da die Handwerker keine Rücksicht nehmen, warum den auch die müssen ja fertig werden. Aber dafür den vollen Preis zu verlangen und es nicht einmal in der Beschreibung zu erwähnen das zurzeit Baustelle ist im Erdgeschoss. Das zweite Schlafzimmer darunter befindet sich eine Kneipe die bis 2:30 Uhr laute Musik gespielt hat und die Gäste vor den Fenstern laut rum schrien. Kleiderschrank war abgeschlossen so das man aus dem Koffer leben musste. Leuke lunchroom verscholen in een klein straatje in hartje Den Haag. De aankleding doet warm en gezellig aan en we werden vriendelijk ontvangen. Naast de mogelijkheid om binnen te zitten is er ook een klein terrasje met heaters. Binnen zijn zowel hoge als lage tafels en hele fijne stoelen om in te zitten. Personeel komt regelmatig langs om te vragen of alles naar wens is en tips te geven over de gerechten o de kaart. Wij namen koffie, thee en een heerlijk broodje "Smokey Heaven" met vlees bereid op een Kamado. Een aanrader. Verder zijn er diverse belegde baguettes en gerechten te bestellen.
