Avoid this place at all costs. My husband, two young children, and I were cold and simply wanted a warm meal after walking for hours in the cold and rain.
At first, we were warmly welcomed by a young lady who quickly found us a table. However, the table was right by the door, and it felt drafty. I stood up to politely ask if we could possibly move to another spot. Before I could speak to the young lady, an older woman noticed me standing and approached, asking if she could help.
I began explaining, “We’re sitting at that table, but it’s a bit cold…”—but she abruptly cut me off mid-sentence. In a rude and dismissive tone, she snapped, “Yes, it’s cold, and there’s nothing I can do for you!”
Shocked by her behavior, I asked, “Is this how you treat your customers?” Instead of apologizing, she doubled down and replied harshly, “Yes, we’re busy, and we don’t have another table!”
I immediately returned to my family and said, “Let’s go. I won’t accept being treated like this.”
As we were leaving, the young lady tried to offer us another table, but by then, the damage was done—I refused to stay any longer. We crossed the street to Vapiano, where we enjoyed a good meal and were treated with the courtesy and respect every customer deserves.
Highly disappointed and appalled by the rude and unprofessional treatment at...
Read moreWe came with high expectations bit were deeply disappointed. What once was a beautiful dish was now degraded to a unprofessionally prepared dish. The veal liver was to thick and was still runny. I was so disappointed that they turned one of my favorite dishes into a dangerous disaster. Organ meat should never be runny with blood, it should be well cooked. The chef should have cut the liver into thinner slices. And then the beef bourguignon. Maybe there is a different chef or a different cook, but they should rewrite or check the original recipe. This dish in this restaurant was a lot better before. Now we had to chew on the meat whereas before the meat would almost melt in the mouth. For the two orders we got 1 tiny bowl of mashed patatoes and 1 tiny bowl of red cabbage. That was not enough. When we were almost finished they brought us another tiny bowl of red cabbage to which we were surprised. Not very well organized and not very well measured. We were a parry of four and we were all disappointed and decided this was the last time to visit the BIT Grill. Either change chefs or you will lose more customers who expect a certain standard that goes along with the...
Read moreDisappointing, unresponsive to food poisoning visited end of May, had the burger, and ended up spending the night sick from it. I immediately emailed them asking for a resolution cause spending the night with food poisoning from just a burger was not worth the money spent on this burger. I did not get any reply from them at all, and ended up calling them. They forgot to note my number so i ended up popping by. Thought i had gotten it settled with the manager who said that the email i sent was never received because that wasnt their email anymore. She also said she would return my money for the meal, noting down my IBAN email and phone number, to confirm everything etc. A week later i received nothing in my account, nor a confirmation. I have called and called, everytime the manager wasnt in, I finally ended up getting their correct email, restated my issue. And again have received no reply, i have called multiple times and no one can respond to the issue at hand. We're now almost reaching 2 months since this happened and i have tried to handle it with BIT themselves but clearly they do not care. Very disappointing especially for how I thought i was...
