There are multiple walkways, children play areas and couple of exercise areas. Beautiful views of basin are presented around the walkways. Seating and benches are provided at regular distances for taking rest and enjoying the views. Good place for quick visits or a leisure walk on a clear day. Dedicated play areas for kids make it ideal for children. This reserve is dog friendly. A good place to do a get-together or organise a picnic on a clear day. It is great for walking and running, and is popular with locals for dog walking and exercise. It takes a total of about 40 to 45 minutes to walk completely around the basin, and there are plenty of benches to sit and relax on along the way. There are also several boat ramps with parking, and one free parking area. The Basin walkway can be accessed from many points, and is never closed. ( average spending around 45 mins ) A couple of entry places can start your trail, easy to park your car or even take the AT train there. ( close to a train station ). Good to seeing ppl enjoy the park here, walking, run, water sport, picnic, walk with dog.... or even take photos, so many activities you can do here.
