Beach Club Oyster & Kitchen — Restaurant in Ōrākei

I had the pleasure of taking my adorable dog out and stumbled upon this delightful gem, Beach Club and Oyster. The weather was perfect, making it an ideal setting for a serene weekend outing. This place not only serves up delectable brunch but also hosts live music in the evenings, making it a perfect retreat for relaxation.

The location of the restaurant is superb, with seating right by the lakeside, offering a picturesque view to complement your meal. The interior decor of the restaurant is unique, transporting you to another world altogether.

We sampled their recommended dishes, including the fried chicken waffle tower, KFC burger, and egg benedict. My personal favorite was the egg benedict, with its potato mash base adorned with sunflower seeds, offering a delightful crunchy contrast. We got recommended to The Beach Club through First Table and made a booking, but the system only allowed us to book for 4 people, even though we had 5 in total. So we called The Beach Club directly to inform them, as we wanted a table for 5. They were happy to accept the booking and let us know that with the First Table system, the fifth person would be charged at full price, which we completely understood.

The food was absolutely delicious, and we loved the warm and cozy atmosphere inside the restaurant. The 50% discount on all the dishes we ordered was amazing—we’ve never had such a generous offer at other restaurants, where discounts usually apply to only the main courses or selected items. But here, everything was included—so go for it!

We highly recommend The Beach Club. If you love oysters, though, we suggest not using the First Table system to book, as the discount doesn’t...

I was disappointed the menu was nothing like the one i had viewed on line and sent photos of to my guests Beef was not on the menu, crab was what i wanted not there! it describes on new menu kfc .... not the food i expected. Coffee not to my liking. Wait for order and plates not cleared away - we sat chatting and bday photos with dirty plates. On enquirey about menu i had viewed on line -I was told it was my phone at fault that i had found such old photos of food and descriptions of the food to expect. I suggested they take them down and delete the description. I did appreciate being allowed a dog with us.

If you do go and want a conversation sit outside because the echo makes it hard. The tables and venue is good. If u like fried food.
