Best Pacific Catering — Attraction in Ōtara-Papatoetoe

We had a 21st function on Saturday 12th April 2014 that required Catering services and enlisted the services of Best Pacific Catering after searching on the Internet. I'm glad we found their services because the correspondence from the first initial meeting was very professional. When we decided to go with their services all forms of communication were professional and their menu was exactly what we were looking for. On the night of the event Steve and his staff were nothing short of amazing. You certainly could tell that they were experts at what they do and this was evident throughout the entire night while they were there. His accompanying staff were extremely professional and made all our guests feel very comfortable. On to the food, again it was just amazing. The succulent Pork, the Raw Fish, the Fish Bites just everything that they provided on the night was tasty and very well prepared and displayed. A large number of our guests commented on how great the food was. We had leftover food which was left in large bowls provided by Best Pacific Catering for a small price per bowl but this was covered by Steve during our previous meeting. Not much was left as we invited our guests to help themselves and take food home with them. That was another highlight for us, there were no hidden costs Steve was very thorough and clear with all the information from our initial meetings. Thank you Steve and all the team at Best Pacific Catering, we have no reservations whatsoever in recommending your services to family, friends and colleagues in saying that we will definitely come to you first should we require your services again...

Right from the get-go, Lawrence , Steve and the team were great in replying back to me promptly when I was making enquiries into who could cater for my son's 5th birthday party (for the parents of course, as I had done the kids food separately). I had emailed through to other caterers yet the menu, prices and responses received from them were slack, and very expensive. I was recommended Best Pacific Catering from a work colleague of mine and as soon as I sent through an enquiry, they got back to me straight away, with their menu and also prices - the food was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS and also very affordable compared to the other caterers I had searched online. Thank you so much Lawrence and Steve for catering such great food for my sons birthday. Easy people to work with, all I needed to supply was the tables and the rest they did themselves including set up which looked elegant and nice. Everyone at my function couldn't stop talking about how great the food was and yum it tasted, a lot of them even went up for thirds !! Would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an affordable yet delicious catere for their event. Happy to rate this place a 5/5 !!...

Lawrence and team were great from the very first e-mail sent via their link, in regards to catering for 200 people on Good Friday (18th April2014). Turn around was quick and efficient and very helpful. Where as other caterers had a slower response.

The service on the day was also quick and efficient. Feedback from family and friends on that day was; "the food was beautiful", "really nice", "awesome food", "no muck around","very tidy", "friendly staff", "food was yummy", "food was still hot", "where did you find these guys" and many other positive comments. There was not one bad thing said about the catering that day.

However, I found that the top table's food was a tad on the cold side. We had agreed to eat at 12.00pm so they could have timed it a bit better so the top table too had hot food.

The main thing was that everything had run smoothly for our daughters unveiling and our sons birthday.
