A REAL LANTERN FESTIVAL IN NZ

Land space is far too big so there would be a lot of walking to do from venue to venue.

Could not see any toilets, portal-loo or not.

There’s no mobility parking at all and yet there were many people with waking sticks and the elderly.

Apparently, the sit down audience were only invited persons such as BNZ sponsors and other organisations and the public were shunned. There was a grand stand for the public but that was too far away from the stage; therefore, it’s difficult to see the presentation.

On the good side, the very long dragon of about 100 metres long was well set up.

Basketball idea was a good one but it was only open to kids below 16. Don’t adults count?

We love BNZ Lantern Festival this year which last from yesterday 22/2/2024 to 25/2/2024. We highly recommend you to go there and enjoy the lantern display and food...

Free to go to and awesome area to play tennis and watch grey hound racing, it is in Manukau but it is not rough or has the kinda people hanging around that you would generally encounter in south Auckland, everyone that goes there just wants to have fun and get a bit of exercise, I have only gone here for the tennis courts and I must say they are of a great standard, there are a handful of out side courts (mixture of concrete and tiger turf) and 2 in door tiger turf courts. They are all of a great quality and both times I have been I haven't had any problems finding a court to play on which is awesome to see, but it is sad that no one really knows go goes here, I think they need more public knowledge...
