Burger King Papatoetoe — Restaurant in Ōtara-Papatoetoe

My partner and I went through the drive-thru at papatoetoe burger king.

I ordered two bubblegum marshmallow sundaes. The drive-thru attendant was impatient and rude and kept interrupting me, asking,... "anything else?", when I was in the middle of asking about the cost for extra sauce and marshmallows!

Seriously, she needs to get proper training on good customer service instead of being so impatient and rude to customers who are trying to purchase food or people will go elsewhere.

She charged us $11.80. (sundaes cost $5.50 each+40 cents/extra sauce & marshmallows Cost $5.90 each.)

The reason I queried the cost for extra sauce and marshmallows was because, we went there a week ago and the attendant who was on then charged us $12.60.

She said each sundae will cost $6.30 each. (sundaes cost $5.50 each) +80 cents extra per sundae (40 cents/extra sauce & 40 cents/extra marshmallows.)

Either someone is ripping people off or cannot count 😕 which is it?

I rate this place 1 star on the grounds of bad customer service, conflicting prices & unnecessary drama, which is a shame because the sundaes were amazing. But we will go somewhere else from now on.

Worst ever service.., went today at 2:30 am for food after job.., was following que when went up for the order but staff member said wait for me want be long .., she asked r u guys paying eftpos or cash.,but later she said we are close. We asked her.., we was in que you should take Atleast our order. But she started yelling on us. When we went to the window we asked her if u was close then why did u ask us before that we paying cash or eftpos...!? Then she started yelling on us.that I want to go home, I am getting late. I don’t have time to argue. Talk to my manager. Manager said system not working wait for me for 5 mints.., we waited in the car park for more then 20 mins.., but they didn’t take our order.., it was happened with us second time. They usually close 4 to 5 in the morning for 1 hour but today I don’t know..!?

It’s so disappointing. If they are closing then they should put a sign on driveway and close that with something and who are in que already should take...

I swung by Burger King Papatoetoe today, and boy, was it a letdown! I wanted to grab a bite and maybe use their free Wi-Fi, as advertised at the entrance. But, oh boy, did things go south.

I asked a staff member about the Wi-Fi, and they gave me major attitude. Apparently, they no longer have free Wi-Fi, which was news to me, considering there's a big sign outside saying they do. The staff member just brushed me off and walked away, not a care in the world.

I don't know about you, but when I see a sign promising free Wi-Fi, I expect it to be true! It's frustrating when places don't keep their promises and leave you hanging. This kind of thing makes you question the overall service.

Long story short, I walked right out without spending a dime. If they can't get their act together on something as simple as free Wi-Fi, who knows what else is off?
