Food Junction Manukau — Restaurant in Ōtara-Papatoetoe

Not happy one bit. My son and I decided to go food junction since we haven't been in a really long time. Wish we didn't . Anyway I wanted something with noodles and my son wanted butter chicken. I normally take my kids orders because for some reason their always taken advantage of. So my son went to order his food a butter chicken combo at $18 this comes with a naan bread. He then asked for a extra cheese naan. But was charged $34 I was still undecided on what I wanted and walked back towards my son and knew by the look on his face he was angry. He told me how much he was charged but didn't know why and me being me I asked at first nicely how much was the meal. The gentleman behind the counter said $34 I asked why and he said he gave 2 cheese naan bread. I went off my nut. First of all the combo meal comes with a naan and he asked for an extra naan with cheese. That should have been $26 we will not be returning ever cause the smiling gentle men was about to feel these hands. We ended up leaving cause my son knows how I get. People stop stealing from our kids who work hard for...

So I enjoy the food but I will never be going to the Thai place again. I paid $22 for a pork ribs and rice and the lady gave me less than a palm size portion of rice and only 2 small rib peice with hardly any meat . . And also tried to charge extra for swapping my sweet chilli sauce to hot sauce instead. When I asked for my refund she tried to say she put 3 peice of ribs and I had eaten one. I stared at her and she straight away opened the til and gave my money back because she knew she was lying and I was not gonna gonna put up with that b.s She did offer to give me a extra rib but I said no. There's no way even x3 ribs and a palm size rice portion is worth $22 . I take my money elsewhere.

Tip for the Thai place. Don't be greedy, and selfish and maybe just maybe you will gain and keep more customers. Cause u lost me as a once favourite...

Love the $25 steak meals here. Me and my sister go here all the time for them. We've tried heaps of steak meals around auckland and honestly here is the best for us! It's the first eatery as you walk in. The lady is also kind, we are loyal customers here for sure. The mushroom sauce and chips are lovely too. I also like to get my chocolate bubble tea from the shop across it. Theyre yum here not too sweet like other shops. I also like the curry puffs here with the chilli sauce dip and the combination seafood fried rice. But do not use the kid play machines here they suck your coins up and never work lol. 2 star review for the atmosphere, food junction as a whole looks a little unhygeinic, messy, oldish and has no air flow so we always choose the table closer to the entrance door. Theres no wifi also be cool...
