I had the first facial of my membership here. Didn’t like the clothes hanging outside at the back where you park your car and the child bouncing a ball against the side wall. Inside it is small and even though I gave my name and said why I was there a second lady came and asked me how she could help me. After several minutes I went for my facial. The 60 minutes was right on the ticker from the time I went in the door to when I left. They do say the 60 mins may include prep (Parnell were more generous with the time here and gave me a full hour facial) the facial itself was lovely and I enjoyed it. Beautician told me to use serum after moisturiser which I was surprised as I’d always done it the other way round. I checked with Parnell and they said that was actually incorrect and I had it right the first time. I asked the beautician what she would recommend for my next facial and she told me and talked about the one with lights so I said Ok great book it for me. I later found out that the light element is an extra $79! Was a little irritated at that as she hadn’t explained what the facial was properly and that there was the option of the extra. So whilst I was relaxed during the treatment I did get a large number of break outs afterwards, which doesn’t surprise me as this can happen after facials but I’ve decided to use Parnell from Now on. Booked in for a massage and it was great!! Really freed me up thank you! However I came back a few days later for a facial and have been left with minor facial scarring. On top of this I was offered a complimentary eyebrow shape. I regret taking the offer as I was left with a very noticeable bald spot in one of my eyebrows. Now, I understand that accidents happen and would normally be very forgiving of the situation as eyebrows grow back. But I am writing this review as I am quite disappointed in the way the situation was handled. Instead of immediately owning up to the accident, the beautician tried to insinuate that I already had a bald spot that she just spotted and then told me to check if alopecia ran in the family because I may have that. It wasn't until I was getting ready to pay that she apologized for the bald spot and offered me a discount. I am grateful for the discount but would have appreciated some upfront accountability and honesty from a clinic I previously held in...

My husband had thoughtfully gifted me the “Chill Out” package at Christmas time. Voucher and booklet that came with the voucher both said two hours 20 minute treatment. When I booked on the phone, the lady said two hours (I thought maybe she was just abbreviating). But in the end I did only receive a two hour treatment. Treatment itself was lovely. Nice smells, and calm music, delicious hot towels. Towards the end there was an annoying squeak happening somewhere in another room...glad I didn’t have to listen to that for longer than I did.

Just a couple of things for prior to the treatment: it would be nice to have the lady greet me with her name so I know who she is :) and I was asked to be there ten minutes prior, but the lady only opened up shop ten minutes prior so I wasn’t sure if either she was running late or it was an unnecessary instruction.
