Namaste Delhi — Attraction in Albert-Eden

I can only assume that ownership has recently changed. Namaste Delhi has been a "go to" source of takeaways for us across recent years. I regularly go to the Lamb Khadai and Beef Masala. Saturday 08/10/22 I ordered these same two dishes, what a major disappointment. The Lamb Khadai usually features obvious chunks of onion and green capsicum together with carefully crafted flavours. This Lamb Khadai seemed to be made from over seasoned commercial sauce with some meat chunks tossed in and heated through although still retaining some dry / overcooked type texture. I can't bring myself to go back such was the degree of disappointment compared to history. "I recently had the pleasure of trying [namaste dehi]'s Indian cuisine, and I was blown away by the flavors and aromas! The food was authentic, delicious, and expertly prepared. The standout dish for me was the Butter Chicken - rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The Naan bread was perfectly cooked, and the Basmati rice was fluffy and fragrant.The service was also top-notch - friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu.

Late in the evening and we stopped in, just as they were shutting . We got home with a wonderful package of yumminess. We eat Indian often - this meal was one out of the bag - the flavours were superb. We tried all new dishes to us. The chicken soup was amazing- fragrant with the right heat - and loaded with chicken , a meal in itself. The Habadab,,, Briani was like none we had tasted - the rice was simple and flavoursome - the chicken a great burst of flavour - the sauces were fabulous. Our third dish was the Lemon Chicken ! WOW - great flavours --- lots left for lunches tomorrow ! What a great find - would recommend...
