Crisp & Vale — Attraction in Christchurch

I recently made a pretty big mistake ahead of an important dinner function—accidentally booking the wrong date for catering with Crisp & Vale. Completely my fault!

With just ten minutes before guests were due to arrive, we called Crisp & Vale to explain the situation and see if there was anything—anything at all—they could do. I was genuinely blown away when Hannah calmly replied, “Give me 15 minutes, preheat the oven, and I’ll see what we can do.”

Sure enough, right on time, they arrived, unpacked, and got to work. The food—as always—was a hit with our guests.

Crisp & Vale have long been our go-to for dealership events, and this experience really reminded me why. Pulling together a team at a moment’s notice, preparing meals under immense time pressure, and still delivering at such a high standard is nothing short of incredible.

Hannah and her team went above and beyond. I can’t thank them enough, and I can’t recommend them more highly.

Today was the first time I had heard of Crisp and Vale, but I had the absolute pleasure of meeting 2 of the lovely ladies at the The Art Centre today and had the opportunity to try a couple of the canapés and HOLY MOLY whatever is in the mushroom one absolutely blew me away. That is literally one of the best things I have ever eaten. As in I will sell my soul for a tray of these, they are that good. We were fortunate to book Crisp and Vale to cater our wedding and the food was incredible! Hannah’s menu options were a good variety for different generations, dietary restrictions, and tastes. We really appreciated the different plates for vegan and vegetarian guests too. The food was beautifully presented and we had so many compliments on the food from guests.
