We visited novelty and ordered the kings thali. First the person at the counter was not capable of taking. He took my order wrong and when i told him to repeat i found he made errors and told him what i said is not what he noted. He told me he changed it to what i said. This took around 15 minutes with me being the first person in the queue. Then the thali arrived. They served me paneer butter masala instead of kadhai paneer and veg manchurian instead of schezwan manchurian and some barfi instead of rabdi. I waited again in the queue to raise my concern and say this is not what i ordered. The person at the counter tells me that the order is correct and i have got schezwan manchurian to which i said schezwan manchurian is red color and veg manchurian is brown. He just said will come and check. He later came saw and changed to what we ordered. This is such a nuisance. I am not a new person who doesn’t know what i want. Then he cant speak or understand. How do you expect him to give customer service if he cannot communicate. Also after waiting for 15 mins to place your order and still him getting it wrong i deem is ridiculous. And out of nowhere we saw an additional bowl of mix veg sabji. That was something we did not order. So this whole experience makes me wonder is it going to be worth visiting in the future when the person cannot take my order and i pay but not get what i ordered. Although I am a regular customer, I was compelled to leave due to the rude response I received from the staff. When I arrived at the restaurant at 8:32 PM, I was informed that they are not taking any Dine-in Orders and they could only fulfill takeout orders. When I asked about the what is included in the seasonal vegetable of thali, the staff member responded with rudeness, which caused me to leave due to the lack of respect. When I visit a restaurant, I expect to spend money and support local businesses, but I do not appreciate being treated disrespectfully. My review of this establishment will change if the attitude of the staff member in question improves. Now I am sitting at another restaurant and they politely took my order and enjoying the meal.
