Most horrible experience i have ever had, ONE star is too generous. So i walked in, no trolleys or baskets, notice there are tall stacks of baskets and trolleys behind the checkouts and customer service, I go up to the customer service counter, and get ignored by 3 different women. Finally get a basket by having to call out and ask for service. Get to the chilled area and a huge amount of products have the tags with the name of the item but NO prices. Had to go look on the online store to find any prices. Then I finally get to the counter and I ask for a paper bags, the women sighs, disappeared then comes back with ONE bag, I've obviously got more than one bags worth of items and when I ask for another bag again she sighs and disappeared coming back with ONE paper bag. While I was at the counter a customer tries to grab a trolley form the ones behind checkout. The checkout lady stops serving me to tell the man that he can't have the trolley. I tell the women that there are NO trolleys or baskets down the end. She turns to me and says "I guess the customers haven't been bringing them back" isn't that YOUR JOB? Or does the mall not have trolley collection? And blaming the customer is disgracful. Maybe you should teach your staff a thing about customer service because the staff working on Saturday the 9th of July between 1pm and 2pm need retraining. They are going to put your company out of business. Especially the women at the customer service counter, if they were busy then all they needed to say was 'Hi, I'll be with you shortly' it's not that hard. Have some God damn pride in your job or at least fake it till...
Read moreWoolworths The Palms is an absolute disappointment. They claim to offer in-store pick-up and delivery services, but my experience proves they can't manage either. When I picked up my order, I didn't check it on the spot because I was in a rush. Upon arriving home, I discovered that three out of the five items I ordered were missing, and to add insult to injury, they'd thrown in two bags of carrots I never asked for.
Mistakes happen, sure, but as someone with health issues who needed to get back to my nebuliser, I didn't have the time or energy to deal with this incompetence. When I called the store, I was bounced between several employees who were friendly enough but completely useless. Even the Duty Manager couldn’t offer a proper solution beyond a refund. No effort was made to fix their error or provide any real compensation for the inconvenience.
To make matters worse, they blatantly lied about their delivery service. Despite advertising it, I was told they don’t actually deliver. This level of mismanagement is unacceptable. I won’t be returning to this store, and I’m seriously reconsidering using Woolworths' services altogether. Other stores know how to handle mistakes – clearly, this...
