Milford mall has a boutique feel to it overall. There's a few stores that seem to be out of place in this and it is probably a bit of a hard task to fill up all of the shops in this context. It doesn't hurt to offer some variety anyhow. It doesn't get large volumes of people frequenting it no doubt due to its location being away from motorway access and for those not living locally it is likely to be more out of the way than many other shopping centers and smaller than many be this a plus or minus for you. I appreciate that it doesn't feel as crowded as many and it is spacious and pleasant for shopping. It has reputable clothing stores that offer upmarket and current fashion for adult women. This includes moochi, longstayer to the centre Country Road, Mi Piachi, Seed Heritage, Ecco, Storm, Trenery, Max, Lorna Jane, Repertoire, Identity, Seasalt Cornwall, Stella + Gemma, Sportscraft, Bra's 'n things and others. That is not to say that all of the stores are fitting that description nor that they are not offering fashion suitable to others or exclusively for adult women. There is a good nail manicure bar in there and a warehouse which I find handy. It has a food court and toilets which I found to be kept clean and tidy when I have used them. Parking is good with multiple options surrounding the mall centre. It's in very close range to a street shopping strip of stores also with an arcade (maybe two) and some nice cafe's and food outlets as well as to Milford Beach. Relaxed...
Read moreI'm sure I'm not the only totally frustrated shopper at Milford shopping centre, judging by the attitude of the drivers who visit the carpark between the countdown and the new world. Everyone is at breaking point after circumnavigating THAT carpark 10 times or more. It has to be the worst carpark on the entire planet (Birkenhead outdoor carpark a close second). I came away from what I imagined would be a quick in and out trip to the supermarket with more grey hair and steam blasting from my notstils and ears. It was like I was possessed by a demon! I never want to feel like this again, therefore I have vowed to myself in the interests of public safety never to visit this carpark again. Come in Milford! I bet I'm not the only one swearing my way around this god-awful...
Read moreThis is a large shopping centre and it is very poorly sign-posted. There are no directories or maps telling you where you are and location of the shop that you want. I wandered around and around and around. It is like a maze. Also, it seems that there are four levels: a basement, two parking floors and the shops on top. I couldn't see any numbering of the floors. Somehow I found myself in the basement and I didn't know it. I had parked on level 1, so I couldn't find my car and I didn't know why. Also, you can get the lift from the basement, but you can't get to the basement from the lift. Totally unsatisfactory. Overall, my shopping experience was definitely negative. I will not be going back...
