The Nail Gallery — Attraction in Devonport-Takapuna

I don’t know why this place has high reviews - I’ve now tried them 3 times and each time it’s been a poor experience. First time had pedicure and manicure - pedicure was fabulous with an older lady but then they tried to start my manicure process while on the pedicure chair - working around each other (by the looks of it to hurry up process). Second and third visits was ‘greeted’ by a grumpy guy who couldn’t even raise a smile let alone attempt any chat or any sign of being welcomed. The 3rd visit felt I had intruded even though I was the only one there and wasn’t asked for shape of nails (there was no communication) and just went ahead and did a completely different shape to what I like. I am a nails snob who has been doing her nails every two week religiously -since I was 16-. I have tried every single salon and as the expert I am I could t recommend The Nail Gallery in Milford (Lisa and Kevin) more. I've been a loyal customer since they opened last year, and let me tell you, this salon is a game-changer. Not only do they nail it with quality and service (5 stars all around!), but they go the extra mile. Lisa and her team (her mum included) make me feel like a queen, and they even keep my little one entertained while I enjoy some pampering time. It's like a home away from home, and I can't recommend them enough! Like a few people who have left reviews, I’ve been getting my nails done at the Nail Gallery ever since it opened. Lisa, Kevin & the team are absolutely lovely & go above & beyond to deliver beautiful nails every time. If you have a design in mind they’re always willing to help you achieve your dream nails.

The pricing is competitive & my nails always feel & look healthy. Even when the gel polish is removed (which they do very gently) they’re strong & undamaged. If you’re looking for a good, local nail salon with plenty of parking nearby & good service, The Nail Gallery is...
