TANG 烫火锅 — Restaurant in Devonport-Takapuna

The first time we came the food and service were ok, although we had problems communicating in English with the staff. The second time we came the portions seemed much smaller for the price charged, and it continued to be difficult to communicate with the staff unless you could speak Chinese. We ordered a black fungus salad and although it turned out quite tasty, it took nearly an hour to arrive after we repeatedly asked for it. First at the 20 min mark after all the food had come out, then again at the 40 min mark, and finally again at the 50 min mark when we had already finished our meals and asked for it to be cancelled. Only then did they bring it out. Although the food is good, the service needs to be better particularly for the price we were paying and that there are many other hot pot options...
