The first time I went to Kanes burgers was just a impulsive meal after training with a friend Who resides in west Auckland and myself an Ex westie’ living in North Shore. Upon our arrival i noticed that the restaurant was theme’d late 90’s and early 00’s and at the far corner of the store was a television set with VHS’sand DVD’s cascading down its sides with familiar titles such as Disney classics to the original Star Wars trilogy .I also noticed the tables had Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z collectible cards.Basically the initial feeling was filled with childhood nostalgia which made the environment feel warm and welcoming. After this detailed observation i was ready to eat. My eyes went straight to the “Aucklohoma Burger” that was centred on the menu above my head furthermore i could see you could order it with a double patties and “add” jalapeños which i ultimately did ,the price was quite cheap not knowing at that time that heaven would enter my taste buds and the price for that was next to nothing.
We didn't eat at the restaurant and drove back to my friends residence.I remember unsheathing the burger from the bag and being surprised by the burgers immaculate presentation , noticing the buns were brioche. I took a bite and was honestly shocked on how good this burger tasted , everything tasted / cooked to perfection ,the jalapeños complimented the overall taste and with each bite i fiended an another , i finished eating that burger in under 5 minutes
Afterwards i reflected on how good it was and comparing to other burgers ive tried in my 34 years of life,I came to the conclusion this was by far the greatest burger ive ever had. I told my friends who also experienced goated experiences .
I have had it 3 times total and every-time i go it gets better, you guys all should be proud yourselves and your continued efforts on making that customer satisfaction at a high level ,I hope to see this business succeed and more braches open across Auckland, New Zealand and...
Read moreListen. I had the worst week imaginable. You know the kind — like the universe decided to throw every inconvenience, emotional meltdown, and soul-sucking moment it had at me like being surprised with The Beep Test in PE class. I was ready to give up and move into the woods, maybe become a raccoon. But then... Enter: Kanes Burger Club — aka the Bun-Based Therapist I ordered Simply Cheese because I have the culinary preferences of a toddler on a chicken nugget-only diet. No veggies. No lettuce trying to trick me into health. Just meat, cheese, bun, sauce and vibes. And sweet BURGER JESUS, did it deliver. The patty? Juicier than daytime TV drama. The cheese? Melted so perfectly it could've been applied with a goddamn paintbrush. The bun? Soft, toasted, and clearly baked with love, butter, and possibly unicorn tears. The Spesh Sauce ain't just a condiment — it’s a freakin spiritual awakening. It’s like if burger sauce and divinity had a baby, and then that baby went to culinary school and cured depression. I’m 95% sure this sauce has healing properties. If you bottled it, wars would end, broken bones would heal instantly. The Henderson Train Station hooligans would be on their best behaviour. I took one bite of the dang burger and honestly considered proposing to it . Kane & your magnificent Burger wizards, you turned my dumpster fire week into a celebratory BBQ. I am now a loyal member of the KBC cult. I don’t know what kind of magic you’re cooking back there, but please never stop. Or if you do, at least warn me first so I can emotionally prepare.
TL;DR: I came for a burger. I left reborn. And i'm not religious. Simply Cheese is my...
Read moreKane's Burger Club is a bit like that friend who's full of charm but occasionally forgets to pick up the tab. Let's start with the star of the show—the chips and sauce. These are the kind of chips that make you forget you're even waiting for a burger. They're crunchy, golden, and the sauce is so good you might start dipping things that aren't even food.
Now, about that burger. If you're a die-hard meat lover, you might find yourself raising an eyebrow and thinking, "This is it?" The brisket is rich and nicely flavored, but it's like a promising novel that ends too soon. To really feel like you've had a proper feed, you’ll want to go for the three-patty option. Trust me, one patty is just a teaser.
But here's where Kane's stands out—it’s not your usual chain burger experience. Sure, it didn’t quite live up to my carnivorous expectations, but it offers something different, a change from the mundane. So, if you're in the mood for an adventure and some seriously good chips, give Kane's a try—just maybe order a double, or better yet, triple up...
