I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but unfortunately I feel I need to do it this time. I and my husband ordered a flat white and a latte here, and both drinks were very weak in coffee flavor. This was actually my second time ordering them at this branch. The first time, I thought it might have just been me, but on my most recent visit I and my husband had the same experience again—the coffee was so mild that it hardly felt like I was drinking coffee at all. Since this has happened twice in a row, I don’t think it’s just my imagination.

On Thursday, from about 1pm to 9pm, Columbus staff looked after the many kaumatua from Waipareira who were hosting the WaiMatariki Festival.

They worked all those hours with patience, good humour and kindliness. Dealing with a cafe full of mischievous, laughing elders was probably something of a challenge!
