New World Browns Bay — Attraction in Hibiscus and Bays

I have spent thousands shopping here but will not anymore due to the bureaucratic idiocy of the Smart Compliance company that runs your parking lot. Got an 85 dollar fine also like the person below. There were plenty of spaces. It wasn't busy. I was about 20 minutes over. I was actually going to move but my friend persuaded me I neednt bother. A gentle reminder would have been sufficient, rather than this bollocks about breaching some contract I never signed. On top of a recent speeding fine for going 8km over the limit, with a 60km limit on a country road, where the flow of traffic was that, it's frigging ridiculous. Especially when you are charging ridiculous prices for everyday items like butter 10 dollars and nearing 20 for a 1kg block of cheese, and the world we live in being particularly challenging. You've got to realize just because you're a big conglomerate it doesn't give you all the power. And doing this to loyal customers is not a sensible move. I'll just take my business elsewhere unless I receive a full reimbursement and sincere apology for the inconvenience, you've just lost 1000s of dollars a year in revenue over a silly power trip by a company you employ to manage your parking. When arriving at the counter I was greeted with a smile and 'hello' and politely asked, 'how was my day?' This made me feel that I was being acknowledged as a person, not a number. Sabilla the cashier and her helper had a positive, happy and professional manner. The helper knew how to pack my groceries appropriately into bags. In other words she didn't jam my bread in with the 2 litre milks which so many checkout operators do. I do strongly recommend going to New World to my friends as all the staff are friendly and helpful. Critique: There are a few odd grocery items that I have to go elsewhere to buy such as, garlic oil, Lemsip max blackcurrant, and my favourite South African wine Nederburg Rose'. Have been to all the other supermarkets and keep coming back go New World Browns Bay. My disability makes shopping a huge struggle yet here it doesn't create too much of an issue! The natural light is a big plus and makes the store much more pleasant to be in. The spacing and layout is great and doesn't create too much chaos and doesn't usually feel too crowded. Selection is great as well and easy to find. VEGETABLES AND FRUIT ARE THE FRESHEST of all competing stores by far. We religiously get our fresh goods from here because they are consistently fresh and great quality....
