The consistency in quality, affordability, and the sheer range of goods and services available is truly commendable. It's a testament to the vibrancy and diversity that this cultural hub brings to the community.

What sets Chinatown apart is its marketplace, a bustling center where you can literally buy everything. From renovation supplies to BBQ stoves, sandals, screen protectors (at a notably cheaper price), and even captivating old paintings and wall decors, Chinatown transforms shopping into an adventure. The variety of products is staggering, making each visit a delightful exploration.

Food court has a diverse array of Asian culinary delights awaits. The decently priced options ensure that a gastronomic adventure won't break the bank, allowing visitors to indulge in the flavors of various Asian cuisines. From tantalizing street food to authentic restaurant experiences, Chinatown offers a culinary journey that caters to...

I'm so glad to see this mall is picking up again! There are a lot more positive vibes around. It hasn't always been the busiest place on earth but it's always clean and tidy. This place always has had it's own 'personality' and it sticks.

It's really sad to see others negative feedback (1 star ratings) about this place because when you give a low rating for a bad experience, i.e from a food store. How is this fair to the other stores around? Without even considering and appreciating the difficulties and challenges that a business has to go through to keep their doors open. I work for a large organisaion that owns malls in NZ and offshore so I can appreciate the efforts needed into run a business in NZ.

As a customer, I've had numerous encounters with owners from food to retail stores and they have been fine.

We need to spread more positivity around, especially during such challenging times! Keep up the good...

Been to China town many times in the last few months. Mainly there for lunch at their food court.

Haven't tried all of the stores yet. Tried 3 food stores there already. A noodle place , malaysian store , Cantonese place. So far so good ..the Cantonese store is currently my favorite. Flavor is good , food comes out fast. Big portions.reasonable priced . You get a lot of meat and rice on your dishes. Yet to try their other food stores. Heaps of parking space. Can shop at their Chinese supermarket as well while your there. Also many other stores there as well, locksmith , kitchenware , hair dresser , Chinese bakery, mobile repair store etc. Most of the food stores are fairly well priced. Food court tables are not the cleanest , but it's a food court , can't expect too much...

China town is rather a big disappointment at the moment... There are more shops, or should I say stalls, closed than there are open. The food court was, frankly, dirty and grubby. The dumplings I ordered were actually fine, but they had this juice on the inside which put my off. Also, just want to say, I was served tea in a plastic cup that you can see on the picture... I would have thought they could spare me an actual teacup. I wish this big area was rather used for a night market or something that will actually bring in customers. Walking through there is rather boring and lifeless. The only reason why I gave it two stars instead of one is because the shoe store is ok, and the grocer isn't too bad either. Would not recommend as a destination for a family shopping trip.

The name Chinatown is a misnomer as this is not a street with various Chinese shops/restaurants lining up beside each other. Rather, this is a warehouse which houses a supermarket, small Chinese shops and a Chinese food court. While the place is not maintained in a tip-top condition, it is by no means run-down either. You can probably get most of your Chinese wares/groceries under one roof here, and some prices are fairer than that of Taiping's (a popular Chinese supermarket chain). Plenty of parking around the compound, and don't let the facade of the Saigon restaurant which faces the main road fool you (yes this part of the Chinatown looks more lackluster than the rest). The main entrance is in the middle of the compound.

I came here on a Friday afternoon and it didn't look too busy. Inside Chinatown there is a food court with Vietnamese food, Japanese food and Chinese food (of course). This place has its own stalls selling different products such as bakery, butcher, shoes, clothes, hairdressers, phone cases, kitchen appliances, underwear, Lim Chor supermarket...They are good prices. All products made in China. Everything looks traditional Chinese style market. You should come and feel it your way, I found some interesting items here. I think I will come back next time
