Went over to the Botany Rebel Sports and ones again had the worst customer service experience in my life. The staff name Crystal who’s name keeps popping up on the Botany branch reviews unfortunately happened be the staff I had to ask for a favor. I walked to the staff on the counter to ask where the kids socks were kept and the size for my son who is 6 years old (knowing kids have their odd size numbers). She was called at reception to help us and she totally ignored me and walked passed me without acknowledging me or even asking what I needed help. This woman has a really bad attitude towards customers, has a really grumpy look on her face to even smile or try to greet customers. She should possible consider going working where her style and attitude would suit. I gave the staff on the counter our experience and she even told us that she does this a-lot. This type of CS does not even deserve a star but unfortunately to review we HAVE to chose a star 😏.
Please consider hiring new set of staff who are enthusiastic about working at such incredible store. Last time I checked at your competitors their CS is amazing, unfortunately you guys happened to be closest to my home so I have to visit...

Just like discount chemist up the road rummaging thru good peoples bags mean while the real thieves are getting away what a joke. You can keep your goods thanks wont be shopping here again. Therr does seem to be a theme running here and other stores with a particular type of security guard. Generally they appear to be over weight unshaven not proficient in the english language and give off an air of intimidation and aggressiveness. Read moreVisited the branch with my Aussie mate who came over for kiwi experience and surprised to see only 4 bats on shelf to make a decision and wanted to buy abdominal guards as well but none in stock or shelf. The staff reminded me that's it's winter and people don't buy cricket gear in NZ which sounds awkward and bizarre.
My mate was surprised that we couldn't buy a bat nor an abdominal guard.
At last we still decided to buy something from impulse buy basket but product was either returned but was not discounted enough and the staff did not bother to offer further discounts.
Staff asked us to go elsewhere , promoted players sports but didn't make efforts to check which rebel brand has more bats and abdominal guards to buy..
Someone in head office should check stock levels of this branch regularly as part of their job or either Rebel botany branch manager should be proactive with inventory management which was poorest ever experienced in retail.
Had the deep pockets but sad to see aid back staff attitude and poor inventory management.
