Sierra Café Botany Town Centre — Restaurant in Howick

Very poor service. I ordered a Flatwhite in Medium Mug to have in, A takeaway Long Black with Milk and a peach muffin. I was charged $12.50

had to helped ourselves with water. Glasses rims were smelt like being soaked in a damp carpet.

The guy who served me on the till didnt even know flavour of muffins they are selling. There was not even a long queue for him to streesed out. Coffees arrived on table both in take away cups and I never got my muffins in the end of the day.

We waited, while our coffees was drunken. Due to highly urgency matter, we left without fussing about it then. I have tried to call the land line to clarified this situation. The line is not even active.

This is sad..

FYI: Food in the Cabinet are all looking unserveable.

I wonder if anyone who work there do understand what is quality control and delivering a good...

I visited this place when in Auckland a few months ago. Ultimately the food we enjoyed was excellent and prepared by the owner (?) 's wife. However, my experience was soured by the treatment of a young female staff member by the owner/manager. He was extremely demanding and rude within hearing of customers. She served me when I first entered and she was delightful. Excellent CS skills. I found it heard to 'stomach' how condescending and patriarchal here 'boss' was to her. But when I asked him where the bathroom was, he treated me in exactly the same way. Perhaps he is used to treating women in this manner wherever it is he comes from. But that is not the Kiwi way. I hope the young woman finds a better job as she is far too good for this...

I was early for my appointment....I didn't know that shops only opens at 1pm on ANZAC day! Lo and behold Sierra was opened and I could smell the aroma of coffee brewing from afar....I was so hungry and I thought a soup would be good to tide me over. I saw "Cream of mushroom...." and just ordered it. To my surprise it was not soup....but my disappointment quickly disappeared with the first bite of the mushroom! The sauce was gastronomic revelation! My compliments to the chef! This meal is to die for! The service was warm and...
