No major issues with the mall, just wish council would hurry up and renevate the place.
Dont really shop much at the stores mostly if im picking stuff up from Countdown.
I am stick of the beggars always harrasing people for money, they dont take NO! for an answer and ocassionaly threaten you.
Ive been followed to my car by these people, that dont take no for an answer aswell, resulting im Police being called.
Unfortunately its not safe at night, when the nightclub is open late, people that cant get into the club (or have no intention of entering) hang around outside drinking, trying to make trouble with cars in the McDonalds Drive-Thru.
Other then a few bad exeriences, it has alot of things I can get, that I cant get at the normal malls.
Just give the place a huge make over, have more security (even patroling the car park) and it will be a good place.

Read moreHonestly, I found Māngere Town Centre really disappointing. The whole place feels old, tired and neglected. There are far too many $2 shops, and most of the stores look run-down or half-empty. It just doesn’t have the energy or variety you’d expect from a proper shopping centre.
The only parts that felt worth visiting were the library and Countdown — both clean, organised, and actually well maintained. Everything else felt a bit miserable, like the centre has been left behind while the rest of Auckland moved on.
Parking on Saturday mornings is an absolute nightmare thanks to the market, which just adds to the chaos. Honestly, the whole area could really benefit from a proper upgrade — even something like a small Westfield-style centre would make a massive difference.
