Came here to do an escape room. Phoned in the morning and the female on the phone said to just come down. When we arrived the young guy implied we should have booked but said he could fit us in, in 5-10 mins. 40 mins later we were still waiting as the other staff member had ‘gone to get a drink’ and never came back. He eventually returned and slowly took us to the escape room whilst checking what looked like his personal cellphone.

He took us to the room and explained how it worked and the story line. English was not his first language and he had a very heavy accent so we struggled to understand what he was saying (we are experience escape room goers) but would have benefitted from having the storyline and requirements to get out of the room left with us.

The escape room itself was very basic, it didn’t follow usual escape room rules (I.e using one item once not multiple times). You could ask for a hint, and usually the staff members are watching so they know what you’re stuck on but each time we used the walkie talkie we got someone saying “are you guys ok?” And then they would ask us what we needed help on. We also had to get them to change the batteries in the blue light torch as it wasn’t going.

From seasoned escape room players this did not meet the mark and was very underwhelming. Not worth $40 a head.
