Great food. We ordered the Hong Kong Wonton Noodle Soup ($19.50) and the Beef Ho Fun ($19.90). Both were excellent, standard sized meals (not too big, not too small). Unexpected surprise was lots of baby greens in the soup (see photo). Nice range in the menu, and a blackboard menu too (which I spotted too late otherwise I would have ordered the beef brisket). There's some tables to eat at. It's clean and bright. No steps at the doorway. We had no difficulty parking directly outside on street but there's not a lot of street parking. We have a new Newtown favourite.

Pretty disappointed after reading all the reviews. And going here based on those reviews… Paid $42.00. I ordered 6x Dumplings which were chewy and the meat tasted like it was frozen for a few weeks, thawed, fried and then served to u with Chili sauce. In addition, ordered a flat noodle dish like Kuai Teow which was just mashed up noodles and pulled chicken. Had to check the sausage meat cause it smelt a little off… no seasoning, flavour or spice in the meal when I specifically asked for a little bit spicy. Spend your dollars elsewhere. Disappointed.

A clean and tidy Mom and Pop’s restaurant, certainly one of the best chinese takeaways that we’ve tried. The quality of food is above your usual takeaways, in fact the deep fried wontons are the most delicious and crispy that we had anywhere in NZ. We had the Pork Belly noodle soup with generous amount of fresh bakchoy, cooked just right. And the thin noodle and pork belly are as tasty as ramen. My wife’s mapo tofu was equally delicious. We want to go back but they’re closed on weekends.

Humble and friendly family-owned eateries that offers real good food. Went there after seeing good rating and decided to try the mapo tofu with rice, deep fried wonton and braised duck with rice. The mapo tofu is so good and its my first time trying mapo tofu. The braised duck is good too! Definitely would like to try their braised pork belly next. The deep fried wonton is a bit over fried and the kiddo apologised for it which is fine. And the taste not bad just find it abit lack of meat inside. Definitely will come back to try more of other dishes. Seatings abit limited and are mostly double and probably only 1-2 bigger table cn accomodate 4-6 but mostly people come in pairs or take away so when we went there we direvtly got a 3 person seat. Parking is off street and abit...
