Hot Spring Spas Tauranga - Ford Spa Pools — Attraction in North Island

Thought it’d be a good idea to buy a quality spa. Asked the lady in the store multiple times if it was quiet as it would be beside our bedroom and outdoor area. She assured us it would be. Turns out it’s extremely loud when running, even their own technician said so. The spa pool lid was also a completely different colour so looks funny. Hot Springs response was to offer to buy the 6 month old spa back off us for $7,500 less than what we paid for it!! So we would have lost $7.5k for owning the spa for 6 months. I went to Hot Springs Head Office, they said each retailer can do what they want and they provide no overall guarantee. So their “good name” doesn’t mean anything. I could not praise HotSpring Spa's and the service I have had from Ford Electrical in Tauranga enough. We purchased our first HotSpring Spa in 1989, yes 35 years ago, and it has virtually gone 24/7 ever since. Jason and his team are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. During this time I used the spa almost daily, as it was a great catchup time with our children. In the last 15 or more years I have used the spa just about every morning and every evening.
