I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Queensgate Shopping Mall in Lower Hutt, Wellington, and I can confidently say itโ€™s a one-stop destination for all your shopping needs! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the convenient features and the wide variety of stores available. One of the standout features of this shopping mall is the ample free car parking. It made my visit hassle-free, allowing me to focus on shopping instead of searching for a spot. I also appreciated the wheelchair access and designated parking spaces, which ensure that everyone can enjoy their shopping experience comfortably. The elevators conveniently positioned throughout the mall add another layer of accessibility, making it easy to navigate between floors. Queensgate Shopping Mall truly caters to all kinds of shoppers. You can find a broad selection of clothing, from high-end brands to affordable fashion. I was particularly impressed with the variety of household and garden items available, allowing customers to find everything they need in one place. For those looking for sporting goods, thereโ€™s a dedicated section with all necessary accessories, making it easier for fitness enthusiasts to gear up. And letโ€™s not forget about the food items! The mall features a diverse range of grocery options that cater to different tastes and dietary needs. What I loved most about this mall is how it strikes a balance between luxury and affordability. You can indulge in premium products while still having access to budget-friendly options. Whether youโ€™re looking to splurge on something special or seeking everyday essentials, Queensgate has got you covered. After a long day of shopping, I appreciated the variety of eateries within the mall. From casual dining options to coffee shops, there's something for everyone to recharge If you're looking for a shopping experience that combines convenience, accessibility, and a diverse range of products, the Queensgate Shopping Mall in Lower Hutt is the place to be. Itโ€™s not just about shopping; itโ€™s about making your trip enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone in the...

Queensgate Shopping Centre is a fantastic place to spend a day shopping, eating, and exploring in Lower Hutt. The mall is beautifully designed and easy to navigate, with a great selection of stores to suit all tastes and preferences. Whether you're in the market for fashion, electronics, or home decor items, you'll find everything you need and more at Queensgate.

In addition to shopping, the mall also offers a range of dining options, including a food court with plenty of options for every palate. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Queensgate also hosts a variety of events and activities throughout the year, making it a great destination for the whole family.

One minor downside is that the mall can get quite busy, especially on weekends and during peak shopping periods, which can lead to longer wait times at stores and restaurants. However, this is a small price to pay for the convenience and variety that Queensgate offers.

Overall, Queensgate Shopping Centre is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a great shopping and dining experience in Lower Hutt. The mall's beautiful design, friendly staff, and excellent selection of stores and restaurants make it a top-notch destination for locals and...

Not anything flash in terms of a mall. It is more convenient than street shopping, and is pretty much the only option for the people of Lower Hutt after its immensity sucked the life out of High street and Queens Street. I go there sometimes, but not because the mall lures me. Awesome news is that a further 50 shop spaces have been deemed earthquake prone, coming up to less than 34% of the new building code for earthquake safety. These parts of the building will be reinforced (thank god) but closed while it happens, and also makes me less than happy about the overall structure of the mall. It went up piecemeal, and you can guarantee it was done on a budget budget. What's the rest of the building? 34% of code?

In its favour I'd say, it's clean and usually has enough parking.

Until visiting the Gold Coast I had no idea that a mall could be anything more than this. Other New Zealand malls are generally not much better or worse than this Westfield. But it is actually possible to have a mall that uplifts shoppers and makes them feel happy about being there, that had indoor-outdoor flow and a pleasant edifice instead of featureless concrete slabs of walls facing the streets like a maximum...

This mall is one of the best in the Wellington area largely because its got a large collection of popular stores in one location instead of across the city. Parking is more or less free (it's free for four hours) and there's plenty of it, and it's incredibly accessible by bus also. Always hit up Kyoto whenever I'm there because their donburi are just beautiful - if only they were in Wellington City! Small play area for kids but it is down the road from a park if you're keen for that. Definitely worth a look if you're around and like shopping.

Rating based entirely on bike parking: Queensgate mall provides 21 bike stands. The style is a bollard with a protruding D-shaped metal ring (see photo). This is reasonably secure to lock a bike to. The racks have a reasonable amount of space around each one. The racks are conveniently located to a main entrance, and are mostly protected from the elements. However, they are in a dark space, which doesnโ€™t feel very safe or secure. It also makes locking/unlocking your bike hard at night.

It's alright. Not as huge as I heard, but above average size for New Zealand standards for shopping malls. Also, having the main mall in town which closes at 6pm on Friday and Saturday is a bit embarrassing and quite frustrating. As frustrating is trying to find a store as they have 2 info point not at the mall entrance... I mean, how difficult can it be thinking of putting a floor map at each entrance? Riccarton mall in Christchurch has them, and they are touch screen... Recommended
