The worst and most racist supermarket in NZ. I experienced it first hand.I was treated like a thief by their security team and the customer service staff all turned against me including the people in the pics attached. I had my work bag with me in which I had my iPad,my galaxy note and my work book and my wallet.I went to buy Colgate and some listerine and as I was shopping,the security came and demanded to take my bag off me and I asked him that , "do I have to give my bag because I have my expensive things in it?" and he said yes that and he took my belongings. Upon checking out my purchases, I went to ask for my bag at lotto counter and saw my bag was put on the floor so I asked the customer service team to show me their store policy which shows customers belongings can be taken off them and to this the staff became really rude and said it was their policy and they refused to show me their policy. They all treated me like a thief and the staff in the pics especially the 2 guys tried to snatch my ph off me when I tried to take pics for evidence for the most vile treatment of me and the security followed me to my car and demanded me to delete the pics off my ph and from my recycle bin.He was harassing me and not letting me close my car door. I reported the incident and the store owner Mr Max thought it was okay to offer me a $20.00 voucher to shut me up.He added insult to injury so I profusely refused his offer. In my experience,this is the worst supermarket and the staff are racially profiling the customers. Such a shame that NW PAPATOETOE thinks it's okay to treat customers indifferently ! I hope you guys learn to respect your customers because it's because of your loyal customers that you earn a living. I would rate you guys...

I’ve always come to this store to buy whole fish, and normally if I ask them to clean it for me they will. Today I went in to ask for exactly that and saw that they’ve actually placed a sign up saying they’ll clean whole fish between certain hours. When I requested for my whole tarakihi to be cleaned, the Asian lady in the photo told me no. She said it’s difficult for her to clean the fish for customers when it’s only her - apparently there needs to be two people around for this to occur.

I told her quite bluntly she should then take the sign down! She eventually caved, but also frustratingly said she would clean the fish for me as if I’m causing her some huge inconvenience…the sign continued to stay up as well even after I walked away with my fish. I wonder how many others will ask and be refused if they don’t push back like I did?

Sounded more like the lady was too lazy to clean any fish for customers, but also knows she can’t take down the sign otherwise she will be told off by management. Surely if there’s a genuine issue preventing you from carrying out a service you could just flip the sign down??

Not a nice way at all to treat loyal and paying customers. I have little sympathy now when people blatantly walk in and steal from groceries from stores.

I’ve also now come home and seen that she has just cut off the dorsal fin and scrubbed off some scales. The guts were still in the belly and streaming out under its throat. I also had to descale the fish...

My go to store and NEVER had any bad experience until today! Lady from self serve checkout was rude to me and my 2kids! She is fortunate she didn’t have her badge on otherwise i will name and shame.. Went to the counter and whilst scanning and about to pay i realised how can i get them promotion stickers so i asked her politely and her response was “ i need to see your receipt” in a very rude tone in-front of my 2girls so i said ok that’s fine, and I continue to scan and about to pay. Then My daughter said to her “we’l get the receipt and my mom spent $**” AGAIN SHE RUDELY replied my 8yr old daughter “yes BUT i still need receipts” even though she can see it about to print!!

I don’t give a fuss about the damn promo stickers. Isn’t it a promotion that you guys are running for customer’s?! I was so dis hearted and very angry at this point i wanted to say something but i didn’t want my girls to see me behave in same level as this person! Coming out from the store my daughter was super upset of how she was spoken to.

I work in a retail and very fast phase i have never treated my customer(s) like this, no matter how busy or i’m having a bad day!! If you don’t like your job as front facing service then get another job.

To the Manager, if you want to know who this employee is, we came to store around 7:15pm and left to pay around 7:19pm.. Staff like her needs...
