Adana Turkish Kebab — Restaurant in Otago

If possible i would give negative stars to this place. Complete rip off with service and food. I ordered take away first time and surely for the last time from this place. First of all their online menu is absolutely blurry, cant read a thing on it.. so ordered what I normally do from other Turkish places. I called and ordered a small chicken on rice, the person over the phone asked if this would be Iskender.. very clearly I confirmed, its not.. just chicken on rice. Also ordered mixed chicken and falafel on salad. He confirmed this order. When I went to pick up.. he charged me $50 for 2 dishes!!!???? He said they only do Iskender.. which he did NOT mention when i was placing the order. So he charged me full price of Iskender order $25 each!!!!.. most places charge less than that and for much better food. The chicken was pale and chewy, chili sauce tasted expired...SHAME ON YOU ADANA.. i guess you make money by ripping off those very few people who make the mistake of going to Adana and spending their hard...

I keep forgetting to take pictures before I eat because it’s THAT DAMN GOOD! Not only that but the service is above and beyond what’s expected. Every time I’ve gone in I’ve always been greeted with a smile from the male owner. Last time me and my partner came here for food there was a small mistake which meant my partner couldn’t eat it. We asked if we could get another made and the owner was very apologetic and more than happy to fix the mistake. Not only that but he let me (a big eater) eat the original. When we came back a week later for another meal he remembered my partners correct order and apologised again. Extremely friendly staff, fantastic food which all adds to the fantastic experience....

Got a takeaway from here on Tuesday night, Mixed meat on chips with 3 sauces. $25. It was all chips with barely any meat, the meat wasn't very nice either. The sauces were applied in 3 piles rather than drizzled which was very odd. The hot chilli sauce was rubbish. I ate it across the road and politely told them afterward they have served me the worst meat on chips in town. The price was an absolute insult for what I was served. Huzur, Dost and Konya are my 3 favourites and ill be sticking with...
