The wharf area is a beautiful place to walk. The lakeside is quite nice and very picturesque with the Remarkables in the background. There are plenty of areas for photos, primarily at the ends of the piers, both on the Botanical Garden side and the Steamer Wharf side. Many of the water attractions are around here. It looks like you are also able to buy tickets here. The area also has a park and a beach as it goes towards the botanical gardens. There are also plenty of dining area lining the lake front.
