If you’re a traveler with a sweet tooth, Patagonia Chocolates in Queenstown is an absolute must-visit. Nestled along the beautiful lakefront, this delightful spot offers a heavenly experience that will leave you craving for more. As soon as you step inside, the rich aroma of freshly made chocolates and ice creams envelops you, promising a treat for your senses.🍫

The variety of chocolates here is astounding, with an array of flavors that cater to all tastes. From the classic dark and milk chocolates to the more adventurous chili and sea salt options, each bite is a burst of flavor that melts in your mouth. The truffles are particularly exquisite, with creamy fillings that perfectly complement the smooth chocolate shells. But the indulgence doesn’t stop at chocolates. Patagonia Chocolates also boasts an impressive selection of homemade ice creams and sorbets. The ice cream is incredibly creamy, with a rich texture that speaks of quality ingredients. Some standout flavors include the decadent chocolate hazelnut, refreshing lemon sorbet, and the crowd-favorite, dulce de leche. Enjoying a scoop (or two) while taking in the stunning views of Lake Wakatipu is an experience you won’t soon forget.🍦

The ambiance of Patagonia Chocolates is warm and inviting, with cozy seating areas where you can relax and savor your treats. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready with a recommendation or to share the story behind their products. Patagonia Queenstown: A Must-Stop for Sweet Treats (Take Away Recommended)

Patagonia Chocolates in Queenstown is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth! It's the perfect spot to indulge in delicious coffee and ice cream, but with a caveat about the atmosphere.

Delicious Coffee & A Matcha Tip

We started our visit with a Matcha latte and a cappuccino. Both were delicious, but for those ordering the Matcha, I recommend going for it without sugar. It has a natural sweetness that shines through, and you can always add some sugar yourself if needed.

Ice Cream Heaven: The Tramontana

After dinner, I couldn't resist returning for dessert. I opted for a kiddie scoop of the Tramontana flavor, a delightful combination of cream and caramel. It was absolutely divine! The ice cream was rich and creamy, with the caramel adding a perfect touch of sweetness.

Bustling Atmosphere: Consider Take-Away

While Patagonia offers delicious treats, it's important to note the atmosphere. It's quite a mainstream place, so expect a lot of people coming and going. It can get busy, so I recommend ordering take-away to enjoy your Patagonia treat while strolling by the scenic Queenstown waterfront. This way, you can savor your delicious ice cream or coffee at your own pace and take in the beautiful views.

Overall Impression

Despite the busy atmosphere, Patagonia Chocolates offers a wide range of delicious ice cream flavors and hot drinks. The staff are friendly, and the treats are fantastic. Highly recommend, especially...

Me and my husband had recently visited Patagonia Ice Cream in Queenstown, and it was a delightful experience. The moment we walked in, the charming, retro decor set a cheerful mood. The staff were friendly and eager to help, guiding us through their extensive menu with a smile.

We ended up visiting a total of 3 times here.

The ice cream itself was outstanding. We tried the dark chocolate and macadamia, and the hokey pokey flavors. The dark chocolate one was to die for - perfectly balanced, with a rich, creamy base and just the right amount of sweetness to enhance the experience. The hokey pokey had a unique and refreshing flavor, with a delicate fruit note that wasn’t overwhelming.

What stood out the most was the texture; it was incredibly smooth and creamy, showing a clear commitment to quality ingredients and artisanal techniques. They also offer a variety of toppings and mix-ins, which we appreciated, as it allowed for a personalized touch to our dessert.

The parlour also has a cozy seating area, making it a great spot to enjoy your treat and relax. Prices were reasonable given the quality, and there was a nice range of options for different tastes and dietary preferences.

We usually found the place crowded with long queues but the service was quick and they had sufficient staff.

Overall, Patagonia is a must-visit for any ice cream lover in Queenstown, we left with a smile and will definitely be returning to try...
