After our A J Hackett bungy jumping we hopped on the Kjet ride after noon , when the sun was on it's way to setting. We found the ride quite exciting, with the awesome speed of jet boat, the shallow waters of kuwarau river, water splashing and shooting up in air on every twist and turn of river and making every one in the boat wet..and to top it, chilled air striking our wet faces. It was all thrilling and chilling. Thank god kjet had provided us with lifejackets and overcoats with hoodies. I and my family were seated on the first row. So it was like having prime seats in a thrilling 4d show. Further I said to the Kjet driver to " make it a helluva ride " and sure he did it with high speed turns and 360° turns or donuts. But he did warn everyone to brace themselves before doing a donut. It was tremendous fun. I would like to add that the banks of the kuwarau river were some times rocky and sometimes clad with beautiful trees with vivid colors. Making this ride beautiful for scenic beauty lovers. Aught to do it when in queenstown.👌🏼👍🏻

We had good fun on the 1h Jet Boat Ride but what I was really impressed with was the customer service. I don't know whether I'm just too used to bad service but the whole team was so nice and caring to our group, I found that remarkable. Before we entered the boat they made sure everyone was equipped correctly and advised us what we can take on board and what could get wet etc and we could leave our bags in safety boxes. On the boat the driver gave us a short intro as to how the boat works which I don't think is to be taken for granted. (The heated hand rails are genius btw) He also made sure to check after speedy sections and spins if everyone was ok. We stopped several times to enjoy the view and to (dare to) take photos without the danger of your phone going for a swim : D I was just really amazed by that because I didn't think they'd be so considered on the ride and I really loved that! That way we could enjoy the views and also have some action : )

Absolutely stunning. The experience, the scenery, the thrill. All worth the price. Even better when it was the Cookie Time 9AM Run. The weather was perfect, the sun was out, the sky was blue, there was little clouds. All round exceptional fun. Only thing to pick about is the combo itself. It says on the kJet website that it's a Cookie Time Freakshake combo. But upon closer inspection, it's a Hot Drink + Cookie combo instead. Makes me feel like it's false advertising. Or if they changed their terms, they should update the information. All in all, the experience is definitely recommended to do. Just if you're doing the Cookie Time 9 AM Run, just check the discount coupon or with k Jet. (Edit: Props to the owner for the reply. Just went down and got the Freakshake coupon. The staff there were very friendly and easily gave it to me. Took a picture of the correct coupon so others don't make my mistake)

I was not happy with my experience with this company. Im not one to complain or write reviews usually but the muck around from this compamy was unprofessional. We were on our honeymoon and this was our only bad experience.

We had booked for the 11am session on thursday (11th) We got a phone call at 9.40 asking us to come to the 10 oclock boat as there weren't enough people on for 11. We said no worries but we had to travel in from the hilton which is a 15 min drive. This is where they should have said we wouldn't make it on time. Instead we got told that will be fine etc. We Arrive and find a park at 10.02am and rang with an update we got told that we would miss the boat if we didn't run to the wharf. When we got there we asked for a refund which we were told we had to wait till our orginal time.

Im quite disgusted in the fact we were asked to come in early, we told them where we were travelling from and then they didn't even hold the boat for us for a couple extra mins when they requested us to come early.fr a couple so we wasted money on parking for no reason at all and wouldn't even help with a refund until we waited an hour.

We ended up going back at 11 and getting a refund and using another compamy with better...

We booked the 1-hour (but only 45 minutes we are back at the wharf) KJet ride for our first wedding anniversary, flying all the way from Wellington to Queenstown for this special experience. The ride itself was fun, but what ruined it for us is the complete failure of KJet’s promise to capture the moment.

Before boarding, we were assured that the jet boat had a camera system recording everything. Trusting their word, we left our own 360 camera in the drop bag area, only to later find out that the boat’s camera system was not working at all. As a result, we have absolutely no photos or videos to remember this once-in-a-lifetime activity.

This was especially heartbreaking because it was our anniversary trip — something we had been looking forward to and wanted to treasure forever. Instead, we are left with nothing but disappointment.

For a company that promotes its camera system as part of the experience, this is completely unacceptable. At the very least, KJet should have informed customers beforehand or offered some compensation, but instead we were simply told after the fact that “the system wasn’t working.”

We feel let down and misled, and sadly cannot recommend KJet to anyone who values memories as much as the...
