Staff were quite welcoming, reasonably professional and nice to myself and my partner. I thought the new venue (which they have moved to) was quite nice and well maintained. We played mini golf and the reason for the 3 stars was due to the price versus the experience. It was $25 per person for glow in the dark mini golf. The glow in the dark aspect was nicely done, and the artwork on the walls was very well done. They also had an electronic score pad which was a nice touch.

For $25 per person however I expect the mini golf to be very good. There were only 7 holes, and they were poorly designed, with the obstacles and structures within the holes (such as tunnels, ramps etc) not even properly secured to the ground- they were freely moveable.

I think $25 per person for this mini golf was quite overpriced and therefore the mini golf was a disappointment.

A note to the manager/owner, maybe consider dropping the price to $15 per person. I know wages and business utilities have to be paid, but if you are going to charge $25 for a person to play mini golf please at least renovate the mini golf courses ( or glue/screw the...

My husband and I were in Queenstown for 3 nights during a wider NZ tour before heading to Aus and then eventually back home to London. Soooo glad we popped into Thrill Zone during one of our days - staff were superrrrr cool šŸ¤™

We LOVED the VR experience - games were great fun and it was nice having a go on a few different types. Back home in London I haven’t liked doing the VR experiences in arcades etc since the headset is never set up properly for me and I lose clarity with what I’m seeing when it gets loose, I really appreciated how well we got set up by the staff and the practice runs were useful before getting stuck in.

We also did the glow in the dark mini golf and since it was a weeknight early eve..we ended up having the course all to ourselves. We had an AMAZINGG time trying out the whole course and I really enjoyed the side challenge games set up on the sides. If I lived in NZ I’d be coming here allllll the time, can’t wait to rave about this place back home in the UK!! (The playlist was also soo good haha - great music taste !) šŸ˜†

Much love to the guys that tended to us while we were...

My partner and I booked GlownPutt Mini Golf at Thrillzone, and we had such an amazing time! From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. I especially want to highlight the exceptional customer service. We had originally booked a Friday session but couldn’t make it. After emailing the Thrillzone team, Andy was incredibly helpful and accommodating, happily rebooking us for the next day with no extra charge. It’s rare to come across staff so friendly and willing to go the extra mile!

The mini golf itself was a lot of fun—creative, well-designed, and with the perfect glow-in-the-dark atmosphere. My partner and I had a super competitive and entertaining game, laughing and enjoying every hole. It’s an experience that’s perfect for couples, friends, or families looking for something different and exciting in Queenstown.

I would absolutely recommend GlownPutt Mini Golf at Thrillzone to anyone visiting the area. Between the fun course, the great vibes, and the amazing staff, it’s definitely a...

The mini golf seemed promising but unfortunately was lacking in a few areas. The objects on the course move and players prior had covered access to a couple of the holes, the courses have short walls so if you hit the ball with even a small amount of force it comes off the course which then makes it near impossible to get the ball where you want it. The escape room at the end was a good idea to get a taste for the escape room experiences on offer, the spinning challenges are a good idea and the glow visuals are fantastic, the scoring with your phone instead of using a pencil and scorecard is the best way to score imo but a few minor tweaks could make this mini golf a lot more enjoyable instead of disappointing. I hope they make some improvements for future players.

This place is awesome! Best glow and putt mini golf ever! Not just golf but some holes are little challenges like throwing etc, makes it so much more fun! Really enjoyed it, we had an escape room booked for a certain time and they were nice and let us move the time as we were having too much fun in the mini golf. We made our way to the escape room! This one was the hardest one we have tried! Was so much tho and made our brains think way too hard. Was super hot as it’s summer but they had fans in the room keeping us cooler. We didn’t get to try anything else at thrillzone but it was a great experience for adults and kids!
