Kanuka Reserve — Attraction in Upper Harbour

Wonderful place to take a hike. This park offers creativity with their signposts, fairy houses, painted rocks, etc. Accessibility- not ideal for bikes, wheelchairs, prams, and trolleys as the walkway is narrow and overtaken by treeroots. Parking is available on Bushlands Park drive with an entrance to the trail. There are eels in the creek and a lot of birds around. Be careful as some areas are really muddy! Beautiful little bushwalk, perfect for kids! Little stream to play in water, too. Had real difficulties finding entrance, as there seems to be no official one and a lot of the entrances seem to be privatised? We finally found an entrance- at the end of Clemows Ln- there's an apple orchard behind the last house where people walk their dogs, the stream runs next to it. Awesome bush to explore for little ones with colourful fairy homes and rocks but it's easy to get lost with no good maps around, couldn't find one online either.
