Rosedale Park — Attraction in Upper Harbour

Freedom camping has turned into 'permanent' camping going by appearances. This just spoils it for those of us needing a night or two there while waiting for work to get done at RV Supercentre. The 'permanent' stayers made up of home built truck camper, vans, car sleepers, seem to have very little respect for others there. Burnouts, drinking, drugs??, loud talking into the night. Freedom camp site at Mills Lane, Albany has closed and I have the feeling that these are from there, because they were not here last time I was. If this site also gets closed,we all know...

Great place to take your family out for a relaxing day for sports activities, do mind the waste water treatment plant as some days the air is horrible, also just be vary of the massive trees near the entrance gate off Paul Matheson Rd as x2 trees has fell with the trunk of the main root ripped out. Another one is due to fall again. All in all cant wait to see future construction upgrades...

We come here to watch slow pitch games and relax with whanau. It's a nice little place to chill but the only let down is a strong stench of what I can only link to is sewage. The waters near the slow pitch are smelly and disgusting. This puts me off from purchasing food from the tuck shop regularly open on weekends. Please consider...
