everything about this restaurant is incredible! from the food, to the service - this place is a must go! we had a 7 people gathering and got lots of food and got to try out tons of dishes. hereโ€™s the breakdown: the side dishes - really nice and traditional. refills are available! sashimi fish - a couple assortments of fish, presented beautifully. raw beef sashimi - soooo good! one of our favs. the egg yolk was the cherry on top! steamed pork - wasnโ€™t our fav, but a really good sharing meal because everyone could choose their preferences in their wrap. an expensive dish though - $96. seafood pancake - good good good! sauce goes so well and edge bits are nice and crispy! overall great dining experience, even the owners gave us complimentary drinks which was so kind! loveliest owners and amazing vibe, will totally recommend to everyone!

An undoubtedly authentic spot for Bossam cuisine. The freshly steamed pork slices are juicy, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. Wrapping the pork with cabbage, fresh radish kimchi, oysters, garlic slices, shrimp sauce, and the special Bossam sauce creates the perfect combination. Every bite of this mix is absolutely satisfying. The radish kimchi is spicy, refreshing, and slightly sweet, pairing beautifully with the pork. The addition of oysters introduces a subtle seafood flavor that elevates the entire dish to a whole new level.

A bit of a challenge for vegetarians. While there were no dedicated vegetarian dishes on the menu, the staff was very accommodating and willing to modify some of the meat-containing options. They were diligent in checking about dietary restrictions, specifically asking if egg or seafood was acceptable, which appreciated. Overal, the food was quite flavoursome. However, the Kimchi pancake was slightly undercooked. Would I return? Yes, but would not recommend this restaurant for strict vegetarians.

The best Korean restaurant in Auckland! Been here more than once!

My partner is Korean, and she tells me this is exactly like the food from home for her -- completely authentic. I couldn't agree any more, it's delicious!

As a western customer, I felt incredibly welcome and the service is the best of the best. Fresh cold water in the fridge is self service and the complimentary side dishes are all tasty and I even discovered new things I thought I wouldn't have liked! Every dish is presented well, and the taste is beautiful every single time.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is very authentic and cosy, we're very lucky to have a gem like this, here in...

We arrived the place at 4:30pm, pretty empty there. the guy at the desk ignored us when we walked in. I asked him where we can sit, he said anywhere. When we looked the menu, there was a group arriving, we ordered the dishes and waited and waited, no water or side dishes was served, when I realised the food was served to the other table where the group arrived later than us, I talked to the owner, she said they made a mistake however if I am not happy with it, I could leave. We left at 5:10pm with no food. We will never go...
