GRAVITY X — Attraction in Waitematā

Auckland anniversary Monday. I booked and paid for 1v2 surfing session. The system took my money but no confirmation email of any kind. I Called but no one answered the phone, no voicemail message to say it is closed for public holiday. It turns out Google said it’s open today but not open. we drove all the way there to find it closed. After paying $200 for the session and not getting an answer if you are open or not. I can understand if staff missed changing google open hours BUT YOUR SYSTEM TOOK the money, processed the transaction, to make it worse there was no confirmation email of any kind. Today's experiences makes me feel that you do not deserve to be in business as you cant even get the basics right. Absolutely rubbish. I expect proactive approach for my refund. the only thing I got was a transaction number telling me today's purchase was successful #20251270956 phone number is 0275599296. really really bad...

We recently celebrated our daughter’s 11th birthday at GravityX with 11 energetic girls, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating from start to finish. They even gave us great advice on the best time to serve the party food, which helped everything run smoothly. The activities were a huge hit — the girls had a blast with indoor skiing and surfing, both guided by experienced instructors who made them feel confident and safe. They also loved the Jumping Grid floor game and the VR starship adventure — so much fun and excitement packed into one place! The party room was spacious, clean, and perfect for the celebration. One of the Worst Experiences - Staff Were a Complete Letdown

Honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. The Asian lady working at the café had a horrible attitude - rude, passive—aggressive, and made it clear she didn’t want to be there. No smile, no basic manners, just a full-on attitude the entire time. It made the whole visit uncomfortable.

But what made it even worse was seeing a girl vaping at the front desk — right inside the building, at a place that’s meant for children and families. That’s absolutely disgusting and beyond unprofessional.

For a venue that markets itself as a family—friendly space, this was a huge letdown. The staff completely ruin what could be a great place. Won’t be back, and I’d tell others to think twice...
