Great customer experience. I googled chocolate cake on the morning of my husband’s birthday (LOL last minute really) and found the photos of the Pistachio Knaffe Chocolate Cake very interesting and appetizing. I tried my luck and messaged them early morning on Instagram as per website instruction for rush orders. I was quite surprised that they were quick to reply and then quite very pleased that they accommodated my same day order and even with free delivery to Glen Eden in the evening! Felt very lucky and on top of that, 10% off for 1st order was a score! They were quick to reply to Insta messages and very easy and clear communication. Paying online was also a breeze. But the star of the show was their Pistachio Knaffe Chocolate Cake!!! Meeeen, everyone at home loved it!!! It was not the biggest cake for $75 but it was worth every dollar!!! It looked as pretty as the online photos and tasted divine!!! So many different layers with different textures and tastes, it was literally a flavour chorus in your mouth/tongue. I’ve never had a cake with such sophistication! It even feels and tastes like dessert you would have in a fancy fine dining restaurant. Highly recommended indeed!!! Absolutely amazing! It’s one of my new favourite place to eat cake from now! Tried the Ube cheesecake for the first time and it was so divine. The ube flavour was perfect, the cake layer was soft and moist whilst the cheesecake gave it that awesome bliss and creaminess. It was so hard to spot eating it because it was SO GOOD. I loved the touch of salt they used and for my family members who aren’t a sweet tooth like me, they devoured the cake and ate sooo much! I love the packaging too and the box was so secure with the cake that I don’t think it’s possible for it to get damaged. I also really love the website layout and design because it’s super warm and easy to order online! Staff are so friendly even when I made a cheeky request for the cake to be delivered asap and they accommodated with such grace and friendliness. Matcha Yuzu Cake still the best! My sister (does not live in NZ) saw their AD i think and ordered one matcha cake last year for her bday and we all tasted it and loved it, it was so unique yet it was so good. I decided to get some for myself so I drove all the way there from south auckland just to get some and got the small versions. then came my birthday and I decided to have the same cake because why not😂 as expected, it was so good!
