Running Grid Newmarket 方格大战 — Attraction in Waitematā

I booked in a session with Running Grid for my brother’s stag party. The whole group had a great time! It’s a really fun activity to do and even for anyone watching. With all the physical activity everyone is doing it’s great that the rooms are equipped with Air Conditioning! As well as the lobby area. The staff that booked me in were so helpful and really accommodating. The actual location is unstaffed but all the instructions are sent through to you to prepare you for the day and then again on the day with access codes to actually get in. The lobby area also has lockers for you to securely lock any valuables away, drink vending machine, claw machine, plenty chairs and power outlets, this was our second activity of the day, I wish I knew this as I could have charged my phone. I would definitely come back for another family/friend...

I booked for a cousins get together at the New Market Running Grid rooms and did both D and C rooms which totalled an hour worth of experience. It’s definitely a fun activity to do, great for all fitness levels.

A few tips we wish we knew earlier, it’s quite hard to find parking so if you’ve booked I recommend going 30min ahead of time. Checking into the building is quite straight forward and everything is self service so no staff present on site. With the actual gaming experience the x-grid is 100 times better than the Hide and Seek one, if we book again we’ll just do an hour of the x-grid it was our favourite.

My cousins and I found out about Running Grid through tiktok and thought to go running grid for fun vs going to the gym. I would definitely recommend this place as it is a fun way to spend time with family and have fun at the same time working out.

Our group went for the X Grid Room. Cost per person is very reasonable considering how long we will had the room for. There were plenty of games you can switch from so you won’t get tired of playing one game.
