The Clubroom — Attraction in Waitematā

First off, I'm not sure why anyone would even bother going anywhere else for their golf gear other than The Clubroom.

If you're on the look out for a new set of clubs or even just a club, the name says it all. These guys will get you swinging clubs and find you the best set that suits you. They always have your game in mind and don't try and upsell you something just to milk you of your money.

You could go across the road to Golf Warehouse for an average experience if you just like getting handed off the shelf clubs.. or you could go to the Club Room and get custom fitted clubs, shafts, grips and also land yourself a deal.

I have purchased a few things from The Clubroom now and every time the level of service has been exceptional. They go out of their way to make sure that you get the best experience possible and will go the extra mile just to make sure you're happy with what ever you buy.

I recently took my grandson to The Clubroom Newton Gully to purchase a driver and possibly a 3 wood. Although he is a junior he was treated with the same professionalism and attention to detail a senior player would anticipate buying a full set of clubs. After testing 3 different brands it was decided a Ping Driver with several adjustments was most appropriate for his swing. Because Zoom at school beckoned we returned the following morning at 8.00am - they open early - and after the same process it was decided a 5 wood was more appropriate to his age and strength. We were served by James and Fraser, both demonstrated a deep understanding of the game and a high level of knowledge of the golf clubs they stock with all their various permutations and combinations. Josh was very helpful during the fitting process. I'm very happy with the fitting being able to try different clubs and see the stats. David and Josh were all very friendly.

However, ordered the King Tour Copper irons on 13th March, still haven't received them yet (originally said roughly a week, then 10-15 business days advised by the supplier, now being over a month). Have called multiple times, each time was advised the next or the next couple of days. I understand this is out of your control, but probably prefer a bit more definitive answer, rather than over-promising. An update would have been nice, rather than myself constantly chasing up.
