Second visit, tried the char kuey teow and the curry chicken with roti. The kuew teow was excellent, this guy knows how to use a wok. Curry chicken was just ok, the curry was a bit diluted and wont be ordering it again. However given that the price is very good with pretty high quality wok dishes, will come back to try other dishes with the wok.
Had the salted fish fried rice and the nasi lemak sambal chicken for lunch. The fried just like the review says, is extremely good and have got good wok hay. The salted fish was crunchy and because we asked for mild heat, it was really good. The nasi lemak was very coconutty, the chicken meat itself was the fried type which I will give slightly reduce score because of it, however the sambal sauce and everything was very good. The berry smoothie was on thr sweet side and taste more like a dessert instead, but actually goes well with all the spicy food we had. Service was on the slow side due to them being quite busy even right when the shop is opened. There aren't many tables but we got a spot near the front facing out which was comfortable at least.
Overall delicious authentic food, fair price and we will surely be back to try out...

Delicious, affordable, friendly serviced restaurant.
Firstly, the food was amazing. CHICKEN CURRY LAKSA is the dish I would recommend here. The chicken pieces were so soft and tender, tasted like chicken thigh pieces (boneless). The soup had a deep coconut flavour with the chilli oil that captures the end flavour. The noodles had two types in it, which were both egg and rice noodles. Plenty of vegetables of brocoli, cauliflower, carrot and potatoes.
FRIED KUEH TEOW - Also recommended here. The first flavour that hits is the smokey flavour from the wok, then the soy like flavour, then the flat rice noodle flavour hits last along with a spicy aftertaste.
The staff were super friendly and generously offered water for us. Served the food to the table as well.
The atmosphere was to be expected, it was clean and an easy space for people on their own to sit down to eat.

I tried their tom yum chicken soup, which was well-balanced and reasonably priced. I would rate it a solid 7 out of 10. However, I encountered an issue when I opted for takeout, as they used paper containers that didn't hold up well during transportation. It resulted in some leakage, especially with the soup. To address this, they should consider switching back to plastic containers or not offering takeout in these paper containers, particularly for soupy dishes. Despite this minor inconvenience, I was able to salvage half of the soup, and it was...
