What a sweet little museum. The building is old and has about 3 floors. The person as the reception desk was really friendly and knowledgeable especially for being a very young man. The exhibits themself were very intersting but a little bit all over the place and slightly disconjointed. I particularly liked the basement exhibit about Norway in wartime and found out a lot I didn't know about it's involvement during the world wars. If traveling as a family, there is a map with stickers where you have to place the items in the correct rooms, so the whole family is engaged. Staff extremely polite and friendly. Really detailed history of the fire and the town's restoration. Lifeboat section was amazing and totally unexpected.
