The Red Piano SXM — Attraction in Netherlands

The worst service I have received on any Caribbean island. I came for a spot of lunch today, and was told there was no tables. A local couple behind me asked if there were any tables for lunch without reservations to which the waitress said yes. I asked her why she said no to me and yes to them despite neither of us having reservations and she just shrugged her shoulders and walked off. Her attitude was disgusting, not to mention the blatant racism. I tried to complain to the manager about her attitude, only for him to side with her and tell me she didn’t have attitude. I said I was going to leave and he shouted we don’t take princesses anyway you and your dog can get out, in front of all the customers. I am a young female travelling the island alone and was taken aback at the disgusting attitude and racism I had experienced not only from the junior but also from the manager. They continued to shout at me as I walked out of the restaurant whilst laughing. The owner should address this ASAP. In a reputable area staff should not be employed who are in favour of treating paying customers with such derogatory disrespect and racism. I would not recommend this place to anybody on the...

One of my favorite nightlife locations in SXM. This place just creates such an awesome vibe. The bartenders are always on top and make the best Espresso martini. The Red Piano has What The Funk (a local live band) playing on Mondays. All other nights of the week they have live piano players with a different musician on a monthly basis. We were there when Cliff and Susan were playing every November and they put the place upside down, see the videos ;)

Each musician has its own style so check who’s playing in the month your visiting and enjoy a memorable night out. Ooh this place is fun...

We went to the Church on Mondays show. It was Fantastic! The band was so great we danced the night away. We got there around 9 and there was a decent amount of people, just a few seats left, but there aren't that many to begin with. By 10 it was packed, standing room only. Super high energy in there. Our waitress did her best but she was super busy. There's no food here, so be prepared and the cocktail menu had lots to offer. I don't know how it is on regular piano nights but I can definitely recommend Church Mondays for the best live music band...
